Telcos Revenue crisis

most of the Telecom companies stocks were trembled by 50 percent in last month

after the per second billing amendment by TRAI.

this has affected the revenues of all telcos .

now trai is thinking of slashing the prices of SMS also to 1 paisa because it thinks that

telcos are earning huge moneys by charging

unjustified amounts for SMS.

But

what I think is the regulatory control in Indian market by govt. is now interfering smooth running of industry .

now .TRAI

should think ABOUT IT hw much it should interfere in teriffs structure

becasue

this move is definitely going to hit every Telco and it may hinder the growth of industry

what will be the best solution will

be is dividing the whole population in Tiers

i.e

cosmopoliten

urban

rural

and fixing the revenue structure for them

this will help

, customers

telcos ,

govt. and

will create good revenue model for industry
